PLOS Biology is APC Free

You can now publish in at no cost to yourself. PLOS Biology, the flagship journal in life sciences and biological studies from is now APC () free through an agreement with аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½± Libraries. As part of this initiative, all аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½± researchers serving as corresponding authors will have their fees waived when publishing in PLOS Biology. The goal of this agreement is to make open access publishing options more accessible to аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½± Authors.

How Does it Work?

When submitting your publication in PLOS Biology, indicate your аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½± institutional affiliation in the submission system and you won’t be invoiced for any article processing fees if you are the corresponding author.

If the corresponding author is not part of аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½± or an institution with a PLOS Biology agreement, but at least one of the manuscript’s co-authors is affiliated, a 25% discount is available towards the non-member publishing fee.
