Dr. Heidi Weigand is an Assistant Professor at 新澳门六合彩开奖鈥檚 Faculty of Management, where she specializes in leadership, change management, and Indigenous community engagement. Her research focuses on building resilient, sustainable communities through collaboration, mental health advocacy, and decolonization. Dr. Weigand鈥檚 work often incorporates Two-Eyed Seeing, a framework that combines Indigenous and Western knowledge to foster respect, sustainability, and collective well-being. She collaborates closely with Indigenous knowledge holders, particularly in the Mi鈥檏maq community, to address community-driven projects on mental health, fish habitat protection, and leadership systems.
As an educator, Dr. Weigand teaches BUSI 6998: Building Collaborative Capacity and BUSI 6999: Leading Change, focusing on developing leadership skills through diverse cultural lenses. She has received numerous awards and grants, including SSHRC Explore and Mitacs funding, to advance her research on decolonization and community leadership. Dr. Weigand holds a PhD from Saint Mary鈥檚 University.
